HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Our story from the 80s until now.

The company relies on the decades of experience of its staff, in particular of its founder Mario Poggio, in the engineering and manufacturing of rinsers. In the 80s, with his brother, he decided to use the competences acquired to specialize in the precision machining of parts supplying the most important companies of the mechanical industries for oenology of Canelli and its surroundings.

At the end of the 80s, they decided to use their experience to expand their business to the construction of rinsing machines.

In 2001, the Poggio brothers took different roads and Poggio Mario srl was established to operate in the branch of mechanical machining, revision and reconditioning of bottling and packaging machines.

In 2015, after considering the many requests of the market, the company decided to invest in the engineering and manufacturing of rinsing, sterilising, and inspection machines and in general in the equipment for the preparation of the containers before the filling and theinspection after their closure.

The customer has always been at the centre of our work the main source of motivation and inspiration for the development of our technologies.

From the first steps of offering and designing of the new plant we share our competences with our customers (both final users and manufacturers of more complex machines), listen to, and accurately interpret their needs. This attitude enables us to satisfy them and obtain as good results as possible, both in terms of costs and functionality in the process of “preparation of the containers before the filling”.

With the support of professionals of the mechanical engineering, Poggio Mario srl can offer solutions to meet the specific expectations of every customer by using CAD 3D drawing systems and edge-cutting analysis and simulation instruments. Thanks to its DYNAMIC, FLEXIBLE and STREAMLINED organization, it manufactures customized machines with costs and delivery times comparable to those of series products.

We have available a large number of numerical control machine tools with which we manufacture all mechanical components of the machines of our production for which we put at disposal also our technical support for the installation, final testing, after sales service, and spare parts for their whole lifecycle.
